It was my second trip to KL with my business team, and my first Malacca trip with them. It was such a hectic trip yet, it was one filled with so much fun, excitement and laughters. I used to think of business meetings and trips as boring, vanilla and draining. I guess that's partly true, and partly false. If you're really looking for something to change your life, anything can be your lead and guide to the path you wish to tread on.
They say birds of the same feather flock together. Since we are free (we even have a choice!) to choose which type of "feather" clan to flock together with, shouldn't we choose one that brings us to greater heights? The people in the picture above have shown me a different side of life, where the rich are not necessarily arrogant or unwilling to contribute to charity. The richest person however, turns out to be the most ordinary looking person in an ordinary suit and eats ordinary meals.
On the first day itself, we had Peranakan food at Ole Sayang Restaurant. I've always wanted to taste Peranakan food. I call this "the nona goes back to her baba tastebuds". I've never really tasted Peranakan dishes despite being a descendant of one.
With Dr. Bahij from Selangor, Malaysia.
With Dr. Taufiq. (He contributes health articles to Berita Harian and was even in one of Suria channel's health series "Yakult Klinik Kita Makeover")
With Ms. Hilda Phang (in white). She really doesn't look like her age! She was a pharmacist prior to joining this business.
Speaking of pharmacist, the lady at the left most was also a pharmacist prior to joining this business. Ms. Rozana was also a lecturer in NYP before. She and her twin sister (siblings of Dr. Taufiq) were interviewed on local radio channels as well with matters related to health and nutrition.
I can't emphasise enough on how blessed I am to have met these people. In all matters of honesty, success is really determined by the group of people you mix with.
