Track-tinted Lens

There were grays,
and then, sepia takes over.
Time slows down with the track,
and I'm the only one moving forward.

But why does it feel like I'm only going backwards?

Another track plays on,
flushing out the pale tones.
I feel jumpy and happy,
until that same track goes on again.

I still feel like I'm only going backwards.
