Distant From Others

it's quite touching when people
who aren't even your close friends
try to help you in any, every way they can.

contrastingly,
it's quite hurting to know that sometimes
the people who you think
would understand your plight best
just choose to be ignorant.

this brings about another new weltanschauung
for myself.
you can't really impose your expectations
upon others.
i've given up doing that.
it's not worth it
'cause they'll only bring me down,
dashing all my hopes.

i feel so alone.
