being in love had created such a turbulance in me
that i ain't sure
if it's even worth it.

one moment,
everything's bright and colourful.
can't hide the smiles.
can't stop day-dreaming.

the next moment,
lovesickness takes over.
from bright and colourful,
the world seems increasingly dull,
no excitement at all.

when reality sinks in,
that's it.
out of love and wrenched inside.

like that's already not painful enough,
budget deficit sets in.

no chance to even binge
on treats for the heart.

such is the saddest tragedy of all.
