Life Is In Itself, A Pandora Box.

These few days, I've been subconsciously linking up every single one of my daily activities and routines to my health and life as a whole. Those late nights, late night snacks, too much sitting down, etc. I must say, 21 is really bringing my level of thinking into an unescapable vortex of "over-thinking".

However, no matter how exaggerated I may sound, these thoughts are backed by experiences, recounts and real-life issues that are unfolding right in front of my eyes. To the people around me.

My passion as a health consultant has definitely made me more self-conscious from the way I eat to what I eat and when I eat. And many other routines.

(Have I told you about a 30 year old lad who suffered from stroke and recovered? Read on here to find out more!)

For a start, I knew I had to make the change in myself and of course to my dearest family members. I thought maybe starting with the man of the house would be a good choice.

Here's the man! (The one in the blue shirt)

I managed to put him under my weight management programme, monitored him and ensured that he followed through the programme correctly. And walla! Such a stark difference from the start of the year to now. (He took the programme in mid September)

My happiest moment? When his colleagues and relatives mixed him up with my younger brother. Same size, about the same height. As sarcastic and evil it might sound, most of them commented "where did your tummy go to? You gave birth after so long?".

And of course, my dear dad felt more than happy to show off his almost visible 4 pacs now! On top of that, even his doctor was shocked that his blood pressure is at the normal level now.

Somehow, it also made him, me and many others around us realise that there's no such thing as a single magic pill or powder to solve all the health problems in the world. It's effort, the correct diet and the right supplements that can bring back your health.

And probably a wake up call for me to really stop snacking on junk food almost every single night from now on.
